Unbeirrt kriecht BABA DUNYAH vorbei an Genres, durch regelmäßig-pulsierenden, Exzentrik-vortäuschenden Partykrach, hinein in fragile Geräuschvergrößerungen, vorbei an Pseudogregorianik erinnernde Vokalübungen, hin zu wildem hyper*-Blockflötenbalkan. Ihre in der Improvisation verankerte Musik „dichtet wild und unverwunden aus elektrolytischem Noise ein Lagerfeuermärchen“ und beschreibt sich selbst als „das Beste aus Polka, Kitschpop, Elektronika und Fantasmaoperette“. Zum Hören und Tanzen (*Anm. des Dirigenten). Das Duo besteht aus dem Vokalperformer, Kleingeräuschinvestor und Theaterkomponisten Anton Berman sowie aus Synthesizerverbieger, Drumcomputerflüsterer und Ex-Hausmusiker Kostia Rapoport. Sie spielten sowohl auf großen Festivals, als auch in kleinen Kellerlöchern – und das seit ihrer immernochandauernden Jugend.
