Kyrylova
is an Ukrainian theatre and film actress, performer, singer, and musician (violin, fiddle, viola da gamba).
She made her film debut in May 2022 at the Cannes Film Festival, starring in the leading female role in „Pamfir“. Since 2013, she has worked with professional theatre companies across Ukraine and in international theatre projects, and since 2016 has been an actress with the theatre Slovo i Holos (Word and Voice), known for its work with authentic Ukrainian traditional songs.
She has also appeared as the face of campaigns for leading Ukrainian fashion brands and has been featured multiple times in Vogue, including „The New Generation of Ukrainian Actors.“
Her awards include a Golden Dzyga nomination for Best Actress („Pamfir“, 2023), the GRA Festival Award for Best Female Role („Dotsia“, 2024), and the Jan Machulski Award for Best Actress („The Border“, 2025, Solanin Film Festival, Poland).

Mitte der 1920er Jahre besuchte Joseph Roth seine alte Heimat: Lviv, damals Lemberg und das galizische Umland, in der heutigen Ukraine gelegen. Schon ein paar Jahre vorher hatte der 1894 im überwiegend jüdisch geprägten Brody geborene Schriftsteller und Reporter in der Berliner Zeitung geschrieben: „Manchmal wird eine Nation modern. Nun sind es die Ukrainer.“ Gut hundert Jahre später reist das Volkstheater auf Joseph Roths Spuren nach Lviv und zeigt dort wie in Wien eine internationale Koproduktion, eine Revue gegen den Krieg, Düsternis und Verzweiflung.
